The HIA-CSR Housing Awards represent the pinnacle of achievement in Australia’s residential building industry. HIA members enter the competition in their state with winners celebrated at a series of Awards Nights around Australia towards the end of each year.
Major winners progress to the HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards, with finalists and winners announced before an audience of industry leaders. The culmination of this night is the presentation of the Australian Home of the Year representing the very best in construction, design and innovation.
Former winners have praised the awards for injecting an element of healthy competition and promoting the quest for excellence. “Winning an award at either state or national level is better than thousands of dollars spent on advertising,” one said.
